Who we are

DuelTag is published by Mehdi Bensafi, who decides how your data is used (the “controller”). Contact: contact@dueltag.com.

Without an account

Everything you create stays on your phone, tablet or computer: videos, tags, panels, statistics and athlete names. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.

With an account

An account is optional. When you sign in with Apple, Google or an email address, DuelTag keeps in your account:

Fight videos are never uploaded: they stay on each device.

Why, and on what basis

Who processes it

Accounts use Google Firebase: sign-in through Firebase Authentication, your account’s data stored in Cloud Firestore in Paris (France), and the website served by Firebase Hosting. Google may process some data outside the European Union, including in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

If you sign in with Apple or Google, they process your sign-in under their own privacy policies.

Other people’s data

If you add the names or photos of athletes, make sure you are allowed to. You can change or delete them at any time.

How long

Your account’s data is kept as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes what it has online at once. Google keeps technical logs for a limited time, under its own rules.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or export your data (the Back up file), object to its use or ask to restrict it. Write to contact@dueltag.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country: the CNIL in France, SDAIA in Saudi Arabia.

Children

DuelTag is made for coaches and athletes. An account needs to be at least 16 years old, or the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

No tracking

DuelTag has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your data is never sold or shared.

Security

Connections are encrypted. Each account can read and change only its own data. Videos never leave your device.

Camera, microphone and photos

DuelTag uses the camera and microphone only when you choose to film a fight, and your photo library only when you pick a video or save a clip.
