These terms govern the use of the DuelTag app (iPhone, iPad and web) and of the dueltag.com website, published by Mehdi Bensafi (“we”). By using DuelTag, you accept them.
1. The service
DuelTag lets you tag the actions of taekwondo fight videos, then read the score, statistics, player cards and clips. It works offline. An optional account keeps your panels, fights, tags and dashboards in step between your devices. Videos are never uploaded.
2. Age
To create an account, you must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Your account
An account is optional. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Home, account button, Delete account): see Delete your account.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the videos, photos, names and tags you add. When you use an account, you allow us only to store and sync them in order to provide the service.
You must have the right to use what you add. Filming and analysing athletes, especially minors, may require their consent or their parents’ consent, and the permission of the event’s organiser. You are responsible for it.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful content, and nothing that infringes other people’s rights.
- No attempt to access another account or to disrupt the service.
- No copying or reverse engineering of the app, except where the law allows it.
6. Availability and backups
During the beta, DuelTag is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working, but cannot guarantee that it is always available or free of errors.
Your work lives on your devices: keep the original videos and make backups (Home, Back up).
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for data lost on your devices. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to limit, nor your rights as a consumer.
8. Paid features
DuelTag is free during the beta. Paid features, when they come, follow the Terms of sale.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; we announce important changes in the app or on this website.
10. End
You can stop using DuelTag and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the publisher’s country of residence, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their own country. In case of a dispute, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution.
